Faster Response Time Saves Lives
Our Focus
11.7 million 9-1-1 calls in the U.S. are for life threatening situations such as cardiac arrest, stroke, or major bleeding. These victims have the best chance of survival with response within the first 5 minutes of the incident. A decrease in only one minute per response can save 150K lives each year and an estimated $7 billion dollars in healthcare expenditures.
Our Vision
At Reflex, our vision is a system in which a drone, specifically designed with life-saving medical supplies, is dispatched alongside an ambulance, delivering the equipment to the victim autonomously with audio and visual communication between the bystander and the call-taker. Our solution aims to deliver such medical equipment within the critical intervention period after an incident occurs.
